In the summer of 2014, we challenged the youth of our ward to read the Book of Mormon, record their insights, and share them with others. This blog started with that dual purpose in mind: a way to record my personal thoughts and share them with those participating in the challenge that summer.

Over the years, I have continued (sometimes sporadically) to add thoughts here as I have studied, pondered, learned, and taught the scriptures.

I do not presume to provide scriptural scholarship or doctrinal interpretation. I’m just here to provide personal insight and practical application.
